Loizos Timinis

Loizos Timinis studied Economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science and qualified with BSG Valentine Chartered Accountants as a Chartered Accountant in London. In the period 1991 to 1993 he was employed by a business studies college in Nicosia as a lecturer. In 1993 he established his own professional practice and has been in public practice since then. In addition, in the years 1994 to 2006 he was employed by the University of Cyprus as a lecturer in the fields of financial reporting, management accounting, auditing, business law and business taxation. In the years 2003 to 2006 he was appointed by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA – UK) as the assessor to the Advanced Taxation (Cyprus variant) examination paper and from 2006 to 2009 he was the Association’s appointed examiner for this paper. He was also from time to time examiner of the public examinations, forming part of the process for appointing value added tax officers by the Cyprus Government and member of the examining team of the public examinations of the Cyprus Stock Exchange leading to awarding licences to individuals to act as stockbrokers. He is also the author of the ACCA official textbook of Business and Corporate Law (Cyprus variant - currently offprint), the research paper ‘The usefulness of activity based management in the Public Sector’, which he presented at the 8th Annual FEE Conference held in Cyprus and from time to time of various technical tax articles. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC), the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and the International Tax Planning Association (ITPA). Main areas of interest comprise tax and international tax planning, value added tax and business development. Loizos Timinis is a registered auditor in Cyprus and holder of a UK practicing certificate issued by the ICAEW.  Lastly, he is a holder of the 'Transfer Pricing Certificate' issued by the Chartered Institute of Taxation (UK).

Doros Kasinopoullos

Doros Kasinopoullos studied Economics and accounting at City University, London and qualified with Charles & Co Chartered Accountants as a Chartered Accountant in London. He returned to Cyprus from London in 1991 and was immediately employed by a firm of Certified Public Accountants as head of their Pafos office. One year later he formed his own professional practice. His main areas of interest are audit, tax and general practice. Doros Kassinopoullos is a registered auditor in Cyprus.
